新年計畫 (?)

也不是什麼新年新希望,不過就是想做的事:

• 對portfolio有更健全的認識跟management
• start and learn how to trade
• 加強日語學習 (把學日語的書讀完,有三本)
• scan karakuri circus (可能的話...)
• 畫畫(想用彩色鉛筆畫一些藝妓或花魁漂亮的衣服與身影)

感覺想要做的事都好專門唷

investment management, stock trading, Japanese language, history, and culture...=_=|||

呵呵給自己加加油!

當然份內的工作還是要做好

上班存錢pay bills養貓煮飯讀聖經聽sermon

美國的聖誕節真的很commercialized ah...

購物跟交際好像已成為這個日子的中心

也就是說有很多禮物朋友親戚家人在身邊=快樂, 沒有=不快樂?!

聖誕節直得慶祝的原因不是因為有耶穌嗎?

本來屬於貓咪們的blog

現在加入我生活的點點滴滴(呵呵沒有我哪有他們優渥的生活啊)

今年的感恩節真的蠻感恩的

不只是今年

去年在姨媽的新家度過

前年跟姑媽姑丈度過

都是很珍貴的時刻

今年...

Phie烤了火雞

我則make了apple pie (有點酸還不錯吃)

Phie的媽媽跟妹妹還開車來探望我們

帶了cheesecake and two gigantic pies

然後又開兩三個小時回去(真是有心啊)

他們走了之後我跟phie吃吃吃

吃到我好想睡覺然後睡了三個多小時真過癮 XD

雖然表面上一切都很正常順利

但我知道要感恩

因為都是要經過一些波折

才能體會能度過一個溫暖滿足感恩節的可貴

I'm buying a new pet auto-feeder because Cookie is destroying the carpet right in front of the bedroom door!! The little brat scratches the carpet EVERYDAY 7am non-stop until I get up and feed him....gaaaarrr

好開心唷

難得有兩天的假可以在家閒晃

而且真的是走到哪 Cookie 跟到哪

我們一起打噴嚏

一起吃我加了太多麵粉且有橄欖油味道的電鍋蛋糕

他還想偷吃我的lunch

手一直往我的碗伸

唉~~~他真的是一隻超級愛吃有點賤可是又很可愛的貓

Cookie claiming his food bowl (this jerk even tried to steel Omama's food bowl away from her with his paws while she was eating)

Some updates on Omama...one day when I came back from work she was wearing a plastic bag on her!

Nothing new about the cats really...its a new environment for them and they are doing really well (hiding in boxes, sleeping in the lids, etc.) Cookie chases Omama sometimes and is hungry all the time as always...here's some pix of Cookie taken from beneath the table

Believe it or not...Cookie's actually sleeping

Neko Ken (貓拳)...in his dreams

It looks as if Cookie is bored and supporting his head with his paws...but he's actually licking it. And of course, he knocked down the paper towel and he doesn't even care

A typical day for Cookie

In the morning, Cookie...

1) Steps on top of those lazy humans back and forth and purrs super loud at their ears

2) Attacks the door knob for a good half an hour to get in the room they are sleeping in

After being fed, Cookie washes his face and goes downstairs, where he lays on the...

1) Marble floor at the door way

2) Bathroom rug

3) Sink

4) Coffee table

5) Closet

After a short nap, time to...

1) Harass the dog

2) Harass Mini

3) Push everything off the table (books, mails, folders, etc)

4) Lick some plastic

5) Chew some folders

When it finally turns dark, Cookie typically...

1) Meows at the doorway and hangs on to the door knob trying to get out of the house

2) Gets frustrated that no one pays attention to him and whines at the dog

3) Chases Mini around again

4) Gets smacked by O'mama because he gets to close to her by accident

5) Follow people up and down the stairs for no apparent reason

When Cookie finishes supper, he...

1) Meows some more at the door

2) Gets to go out for a walk, chases and eats the bugs he catches, run around freely with his tail sticking up...until he reluctantly has to go back inside

3) Sleeps on the table and pushes some more stuff on to the floor

Ahh....good memories

O'mama

This is O'mama, quite the character in the house. She loves pets yet likes to bite! She's like a little princess, whatever she wants she has to get it. She also likes to sleep on the bed and under the blanket. I think she's the funniest among the three cat because she's just like a person - extremely vocal and moody. I love her nonetheless, and my goal is to be able to trim her nails some day.

Mini

This is Mini, she is 2-3 years younger than Cookie. She's very shy but extremely cute just like a bunny (honey bunny is her other name). She likes to sleep with people and curls her body around when she sleeps. She also loves human food and becomes quite bold when it comes to food (exploring the kitchen, etc.) Although Mini is timid and skinny, she hisses at Cookie when he picks on her and smacks me when I poke her paws.

Cookie

This is Cookie, not especially elegant (quite clumsy in fact) but he's cute in his own way. He's probably 5 years old now (15 more years to go!) and loves to go outside for a walk or chase/eat bugs on the grass. He's not very good with other cats but is extremely tolerant to humans (ha!) I am so glad to have him with me in Seattle :)
